In a desperate attempt to rid her house of mice, a former aeronautical engineer rockets them into space. When they crash land on the ISS, she becomes their unlikely ally to bring them home safely before NASA figures out how to exterminate them.
A former aeronautical engineer turned YouTuber have one of her invention videos interrupted by an unexpected guest: a mouse. One mouse quickly turns into three as they cleverly thwart her traps. She begins documenting her quest as she builds more and more elaborate traps. and each time the mice outsmart her.
Growing increasingly frustrated, she decides to stop playing nice, and begins to build a little rocket ship to launch them into space. Curious as they are, as she begins the big project, the mice come out and… participate. A camaraderie forms as she builds and they train.
Launch day arrives. The three mice willingly climb into position and the inventor rockets them into space. She celebrates the success of the launch and finally ridding herself of the mice, but it is quickly doused by regret.
Come morning, she begins the slow process of editing her footage when a news alert pops: the international space station was struck by an unknown object! She finds a live interview with crew on the space station and is overwhelmed by joy (and fear) when she spots one of the mice twirl through the background.
News and social media alike explode with the revelation of mice in space. While NASA scrambles to “solve” the inexplicable mice problem, the inventor decides to work against her former colleagues and bring the mice safely home at all costs.
